03 / Corporate Information Architecture
Re-architecting dense accounting matrices into clear, accessible B2B digital blueprints.
Operating as Lead Designer and Marketing Manager for Common Ledger, my work focused on the visual translation of complex financial data streams, cloud accounting frameworks, and enterprise software interfaces. The core objective was to take multi-layered tax calculations, trial balance ledgers, and fragmented API data tables and structure them into uniform, user-centric dashboards built for scale.
The layout discipline relies on absolute grid control, dense typographic hierarchies, and strict data-cell proportions. Every navigational path, data row, and chart container was stripped of non-essential decorative styling, ensuring that quantitative, high-stakes information renders with flawless alignment and immediate visual precision.
By approaching corporate software design through a lens of complete subtraction and thorough attention to detail, the platform balances functional engineering with an elegant, Swiss-inspired typographic structure—providing accounting networks across Australasia with a completely reliable, friction-free digital workspace.
