Hridaya Yoga is an international organisation offering meditation retreats, yoga teacher training and educational programmes across Europe and the Americas.
Since July 2025, I have led the continued development of Hridaya Yoga’s global publishing system. Building on an established visual foundation, I oversee multilingual editorial design, visual assets and educational resources, ensuring consistency while evolving the system to support new publications, programmes and international teams across California, Chicago, Mexico City, Tepoztlán, Mazunte and Portugal.
THE POSTURE OF SERVICE: A RECORD OF DEVOTION
Translating non-dual spiritual teachings, children’s curriculum guides, and emotional support trauma charts into visual forms cannot be done from a place of personal pride. This work was approached purely as sevā—an offering of selfless service. For nearly a year at the foot of Mount Arunachala, my daily practice was simply to listen deeply, show up at the ashram kitchen fires at 3:30 AM to slice vegetables, and clean plates with reverence. That exact same posture of quiet discipline and complete surrender was brought to these design files.
The layout choices follow a quiet, natural necessity rather than personal vanity. By maintaining a simple typographic hierarchy, wide margins, and a slow movement of color—moving gently from warm earth tones into deep indigos—the design reflects an inner movement away from mental noise and toward spacious silence. Every line drawing, book layout, and grid boundary was structured to make dense, abstract concepts plain, clear, and easy for any seeker to understand.
Operating quietly across global time zones to support international printing and teaching teams, the intention was never to build a personal design empire or claim ownership over the creative outcome. It was simply about becoming a clean, empty channel through which information could flow without obstruction, ensuring that these visual systems remain a pure, enduring resource for the global community and the Spiritual Heart.
